Research objectives:

Optimization methods for engineering problems is a critical area of research, driven by the increasing complexity and stringent demands in various industrial sectors, including automotive, agricultural, and manufacturing.

These optimization methods aim to identify the most effective solutions under a given set of constraints and objectives. The process of optimization involves translating real-world challenges into a precise mathematical framework, which includes defining decision variables, objective functions, and constraints.

Digital optimization technologies are broadly categorized into several classes, each with distinct advantages and applications. These include heuristic and metaheuristic (Genetic Algorithm, Particle Swarm Optimization method, Ants Colony Optimization algorithm, …, etc.) and advanced AI-enhanced approaches.

We invite high-quality contributions that investigate how the application of optimization methods can solve engineering problems in different complicated environments.
